Wild Golden Ale finished in Tequila Barrels
 
A blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old golden ales brewed with malted barley and raw wheat. Spontaneously fermented and matured in neutral French oak barrels. The beer was finished in freshly emptied tequila barrels.
 
Tasting Notes:  The nose opens with a bold hit of tequila, showcasing citrus notes of lime and a touch of spice, balanced by the beer's malt sweetness. On the palate, the tequila character softens, revealing layers of subtle lime zest, earthy agave, and a gentle warmth. The beer's complex malt base adds depth, with light caramel and toasty notes, while a soft, warming spice lingers through the finish. An intriguing and well-rounded beer, offering a unique twist on spirit barrel aging.
