Crafted with 100% honey and dark cherry juice, this fruited mead, known as a melomel, follows a traditional style with roots stretching back thousands of years. In Norse and early European traditions, mead was often infused with foraged fruits to create rich, celebratory drinks for feasts and special occasions.
 
This Dark Cherry Traditional Mead gives you a gorgeous mix of deep fruit, honey richness, and a little tannin from the cherries. It behaves somewhere between a cherry wine, a melomel, and a light fortified wine, which opens up some fantastic pairing options.
 
Tasting notes: Deep fruit warmth meets gentle floral honey notes. Sweet, sour and balanced. Slow fermentation preserves the delicate character of the honey, creating  smooth, rounded drink with subtle tart sharpness.
